The five-story Element hotel is taking reservations for its 104 rooms in downtown Bozeman starting today. Element is the eco-conscious brand of Connecticut-based Starwood Hotels, and the Bozeman hotel is the company's first property in Montana. Element Bozeman will also be the first LEED-certified hotel in the state.
Starwood obviously sees the environmental focus of the Element brand as a good fit for this outdoor-loving gateway to Yellowstone, Big Sky and countless other outdoor recreation spots. There will be no single-use toiletries or bottled waters. The construction used plenty of sustainable and recycled materials. And, to cater to the perpetually-active, Element Bozeman will offer healthy breakfasts, complimentary bike rentals, dog-friendly rooms, a 24-hour fitness center and an indoor saline swimming pool and sauna.
The hotel is also well-situated for more casual activities, being only a block from Main Street and close to museums, cultural centers, shopping and dining and nightlife. The airport is only 15 minutes away, and Montana State's campus is a short walk, as well.
Rooms at the Element Bozeman will average between $150 to $300 per night.
